On the Toilet

So there’s this common joke surrounding fortune cookies, where the phrase “in bed” is appended to the end of any given fortune, creating a humorous sexual innuendo. However, a friend of mine suggested an alternative phrase to append to the end of fortunes which, while not sexual in nature, if far more humorous. In fact, I’ve yet to find a fortune which is not funnier if this phrase is used rather than “in bed”. The phrase: “on the toilet.”
